Cost Segregation for Real Estate Agents

Win more investor clients by being the agent who can talk about after-tax returns.

Investors don't pick the agent with the most listings. They pick the one who understands how the deal performs after tax. Cost segregation is the single biggest lever in that conversation, and almost no agent can explain it. Five short videos fix that — in plain English, with the exact words to use on a listing appointment, a buyer call and a past-client check-in.

This is professional training, not tax advice. Every client’s situation belongs with their CPA — the class teaches you where that line is. Want a head start? Read the bonus depreciation guide and the short-term rental tax strategy guide.

Questions

Do I need a finance or tax background?
No. The class assumes you know how to sell real estate and nothing about depreciation. Every concept is taught in plain English first, numbers second.
How long does it take?
Five videos, about five minutes each. Watch them in one sitting or one a day between showings.
Is this continuing education credit?
No. This is professional training from a cost segregation practice, not a DRE-approved CE course.
Am I being taught to give tax advice?
The opposite. You'll learn enough to recognize the opportunity and start the conversation, and exactly where to stop and bring in the client's CPA or a cost segregation specialist.
What does it cost?
Nothing. Realm earns its living on cost segregation studies; agents who understand them are good for everyone, including us.
